Ensotech expands into Asia
TerraMix introduced as a scalable cold asphalt system solution for next-generation infrastructure

Against this background, Ensotech-Global and its international partners have officially established Ensotech-Asia — a strategic step toward scaling sustainable infrastructure solutions across Southeast Asia and beyond.
The partnership agreement was officially signed between Tobias Leutert, CEO of Ensotech-Global, and Randy Dabu, Managing Director of Ensotech-Asia.
The establishment of Ensotech-Asia represents more than regional expansion. It creates local operational capabilities for project execution, technology transfer and scalable deployment of sustainable road infrastructure systems.
The collaboration combines international system innovation with local market expertise and implementation strength. The objective is clear:
To provide infrastructure solutions that are not only technically performant, but also economically efficient, resource-conscious and scalable under real-world conditions.
Under the new regional structure, infrastructure activities in Asia will operate through Ensotech-Asia Innovative Solutions.
The organization will focus on:
• cold-applied asphalt technologies
• scalable infrastructure systems • CO₂-reducing construction methods
• local project implementation and accreditation
On the Philippine market, the cold asphalt system will be introduced under the brand name TerraMix. TerraMix was developed with exactly this objective in mind.
Rather than incrementally optimizing conventional hot-mix approaches, the system replaces thermally intensive production with a fully cold-applied infrastructure concept designed for scalable real-world deployment. The system combines:
• cold-applied processing without thermal energy input
• reduced construction complexity
• lower material and logistics demand
• integration of CO₂-binding components such as biochar
• reproducible installation processes with standard equipment
The result is a road construction approach that combines engineering performance with measurable environmental and economic advantages.
Already at the beginning of this month, several additional showcase projects were successfully implemented in the Philippines. The projects demonstrated:
• rapid construction execution
• immediate traffic release
• simplified installation processes
• reduced equipment and energy requirements
• durable structural performance under real conditions
These successful proof-of-concept applications have already attracted the attention of new project owners, infrastructure stakeholders and potential investors.
One of the key engineering aspects of TerraMix is the structural system design itself.
Through optimized interaction between the surface layer and aggregate structure, the system can reduce overall pavement thickness while maintaining high structural performance.
This creates several practical advantages:
