About Project

ENSOTECH successfully completed a road improvement project in Magalang, Pampanga, utilizing its innovative TerraMix™ pavement technology. The project involved the construction of a 70-meter-long and 4.5-meter-wide roadway designed to provide a durable, cost-effective, and sustainable transportation solution for the local community.

A 3-centimeter TerraMix™ surface layer was applied directly over the existing compacted subgrade, significantly reducing the need for extensive excavation or additional structural layers. The project demonstrated how modern road construction technologies can simplify installation while delivering reliable long-term performance.

Our Client’s Challenge

The local community required a durable road solution that could be installed quickly and efficiently while minimizing disruption to daily traffic.

One of the primary concerns during construction was the unpredictable weather conditions common in the region. Shortly after installation, the project experienced heavy rainfall approximately two hours after the TerraMix™ layer was applied.

Under traditional road construction methods, severe weather during installation can delay curing, impact material performance, and extend project completion timelines. The client needed a solution capable of performing reliably despite challenging environmental conditions.

Our Approach And Solution

ENSOTECH utilized its advanced TerraMix™ technology to create a resilient road surface capable of withstanding real-world construction challenges.

The existing roadway foundation was first prepared and compacted to create a stable base. A 3-centimeter TerraMix™ layer was then applied and compacted to form the finished road surface.

Despite heavy rainfall occurring only two hours after installation, the TerraMix™ material remained stable and unaffected, demonstrating its flexibility and resistance to adverse weather conditions. The project highlighted one of the technology’s key advantages: the ability to maintain performance even when environmental conditions are less than ideal.

An additional benefit was the rapid return to service. Unlike many conventional road systems that require extended curing periods, the road was opened to traffic immediately after compaction, eliminating unnecessary delays and minimizing disruption to the community.

Key Project Benefits

✓ Road opened to traffic immediately after installation

✓ No adverse effects despite heavy rainfall shortly after application

✓ Reduced construction complexity

✓ Faster project completion

✓ Cost-effective road rehabilitation solution

✓ Sustainable infrastructure technology

Project Results

The completed roadway delivered a smooth, durable surface while showcasing the practical advantages of TerraMix™ technology in real-world conditions.

The project demonstrated that sustainable road construction solutions can provide both operational and environmental benefits without compromising performance. The successful outcome reinforced TerraMix™ as a reliable option for municipalities and communities seeking resilient infrastructure solutions.

What Customers Say?

“We were impressed by how quickly the road was completed and how well the material performed despite the heavy rainfall shortly after installation. The ability to open the road to traffic immediately was a major advantage for our community and helped minimize disruptions.”
